Simple Man leans on his golf club with an absolutely massive grin, basking in the moment of a perfectly struck shot. Two under par, an eagle, of course. In Evie's artwork, a majestic eagle holds the golf ball aloft, a playful celebration of the joy that comes with an unforgettable hole. This is what triumph looks like on the green.

The Eagle Has Landed is the first artwork in Evie's Sport Series, a collection of original watercolours following Simple Man through moments of achievement, adventure, and the simple delights found in the activities we love.

The Story Behind Simple Man

Simple Man began with an artwork called The Introduction, a cheerful stick figure with a friendly wave and a big smile. What started as a simple image grew into something much larger: a community movement built around the small businesses and charities that hold the Southern Highlands villages together.

Every new Simple Man artwork begins its journey not online, but in the heart of the community.

The Community Initiative

Evie donates the first framed print of each new Simple Man artwork to a local small business. That business then makes it available for sale, donating 50% of the sale proceeds directly to a local charity, a genuine contribution to the community.

The first print, the #1 Limited Edition Wandering Print, is personally signed by Evie with her exclusive purple signature, reserved solely for these first prints. It stays with each business for one month, travelling from shop to shop, connecting people and places across the Southern Highlands.

If the #1 Wandering Print does not sell within the month, it will move online, and a new print will make its way to the next local business.
